No introduction necessary, here are two magnificent sides back-to-back from one of Jamaica’s finest voices. ‘The Sun’, of course, is an alternative version of ‘Call On You’, originally recorded for Studio One and the opening track on Rocking Time (1974). Likewise, ‘The Youth’ was originally ‘Pick Up the Pieces’ on Spear’s debut album for Coxsone (1973). These “disco-mixes” came out in 1978, if I’m not mistaken.

Please note that this is the rarer and, I believe, earlier version of this disc, with light green labels. It comes in a generic sleeve.
